Solo’s December 2, 2024 “Manufactured Consent” Post (#20,283)
Responding to user Latrell Sprewell (who had asked: “How can you be confident she’s telling the truth here? … has Rose said anything about why she’s sharing all of this now? I’m curious about her motivations.“):
“I can’t really prove anything regarding the age without Doxing Rose, or the Twitter DMs. So feel free to disregard it as it was shared with me directly by Rose in a personal interaction IRL. I just thought it was funny and illustrates a lack of vetting when courting people he believes are barely 18.
EDIT: In regards to why she’s sharing it now, she isn’t, she gave me the account a while ago and told me I can do whatever I want with it. Though she doesn’t really care about stuff being leaked.
I was bored and sitting on it for a while so I thought it would be funny to start dropping stuff bit by bit after recent drama.”
This is the post directly rebutted under sworn oath in Rose deposition — Doe v Bonnell. Under deposition, Rose testified:
- She never met Solo “IRL” — they never met in person, ever
- “There was no account to give him”
- She did not give him permission to leak
- She did not know the leak was coming
Solo’s post establishes, in his own words:
- Motive: boredom and amusement. “I was bored… I thought it would be funny.”
- Stockpile behavior. He was “sitting on it for a while” before the drop.
- Reactive timing. The drop was triggered by “recent drama” — an opportunistic release.
- Manufactured consent as a retroactive justification. The “she gave me the account” framing appears only after being asked about Rose’s motivations, not as part of the original drop.
Key Points for the Article
- The drop happened in a forum that had been running a Destiny harassment thread since 2017. Solo did not create the platform — he dumped into pre-existing infrastructure built around targeted harassment. The harm scaled because that infrastructure existed.
- The SoloTinyLeaks account is a purpose-built burner. Created November 29, 2024, used to distribute, never used for anything else. No identity trail.
